Japanese Track and Field Star Is Eighty-Four Years Old

octogenarian athleteHow do Asian people all seem to live forever? Some might attribute it to a healthy diet and the clear, strong air of the Far East or something, but if you're this guy, it's your unyielding dedication to staying active in track and field.

In fact, this octogenarian's life revolves so heavily around hurdles and long jumps that he sets up makeshift hurdles out of junk and even lands in piles of dirt. And he's eighty-four. That's commitment.

Dude's got spider veins crawling up his calves, yet he manages to slide into mud puddles like it's spring training.
