Miniature Horse Gets Life-Saving Prosthetic Leg, Is the Cutest Thing Ever (The One)

Midnight the miniature horse was born without part of his left hind leg. His owners, either unwilling or unable, didn't do much to help him out, so law enforcement stepped in and brought Midnight to Ranch Hand Rescue in Texas.

That's when the people at Prosthetic Care in Fort Worth offered to try and do something that's never been done before: make a prosthetic horse leg for Midnight.

Usually it takes people a while to adjust to a prosthetic limb, but Midnight surprised everybody by loving his limb right away. Watch him run for the first time in his tiny, fuzzy life after the jump.
