2012 NFL Mock Draft Sees LB Manti Te'o Go to Chiefs at No. 17
Notre Dame inside linebacker Manti Te'o was a beast in 2010, recording 129 tackles and eight tackles for a loss for the Fighting Irish.
His physical prowess, at 6-foot-2, 245 pounds, is scary, and his quickness along with his strength makes him destined to be a solid NFL linebacker. He's also starting to learn the game more and becoming more of an instinctive player to the ball, which is frightening considering, well, he had 129 tackles in 2010.

Why Chiefs Need Te'o
The Chiefs appear to have addressed the left outside linebacker spot opposite Tamba Hali, so addressing nose tackle of inside linebacker would be a good next step. It's hard to pass up Te'o here, especially given their needs in the interior. He adds an instant presence to the Chiefs defensively.
Pro Bowl Potential
Medium: Te'o still needs to learn how to recognize plays right off the bat. He's improving in that regard, but he needs to be quicker if he's going to be a Pro Bowler in the NFL. Something tells me he will, but this season with the Fighting Irish should show a lot. Gotta love a bruiser from Notre Dame, too.
