2012 NFL Mock Draft: Bold Picks and Predictions for Next Year's NFL Draft

I suppose it's never too early to look ahead.

In that spirit, a 2012 Mock draft is here; after all, Todd McShay's mock is already out, as is Mel Kiper's big board.

To avoid irritating fans and indirectly saying clubs didn't make any progress the last year, I'll use the same order as the 2011 NFL draft: Panthers first, Packers last.

Certainly there are some inherent flaws because we still don't know where players will land via trade and free agency—thanks a lot lockout—but I've made a few assumptions along the way just to stir things up.

And on we go!
