The development of pass-heavy offensive strategies has been a hot trend in the NFL in recent years.

A league once dominated by the running back now relies heavily on wide receivers to become go-to playmakers.  The presence of an elite wideout increases the efficiency of an offensive unit and raises the level of play of other positions.

2011's free agent class has a wide variety of WRs who will have an immediate impact wherever they land.  The list is riddled with proven talent and intriguing names and is composed of athletes from a variety of backgrounds.
