Some folks remember when they had a list for a holiday and when they awake on the morning of the great day, and they got what they wanted. Well, Hue Jackson is reportedly beaming with pride since he acquired two outstanding new Oakland Raiders: Stefen Wisniewski and DeMarcus Van Dyke.
Jackson has acquired two powerful tools to construct a winning team. Wisniewski is a center and he brings quite of bit of talent and skills to the Oakland Raiders. What's more he has had the advantage of being a part of the Oakland Raiders culture because his uncle has been accessible to him throughout his life.
The lockout, however, interrupts Wisniewski's chances to celebrate with his uncle about his selection in the 2011 draft since the lockout was reinstated. Once the lockout is over, the young Wisniewski can benefit from the guidance of his uncle and of all the coaches. Having had so much football knowledge around Wisniewski, he has a great chance of becoming a great player. Even Jim Otto has an interest in young Wisniewski's career.
DeMarcus Van Dyke had a chance to workout with Tyvon Branch in the past and he too brings a wealth of potential and talent to the Oakland Raiders. Once he gains a little weight, it is believed that he is going to maintain his speed. When Van Dyke weighed about 186, he still ran a 4.29.
He added that since the Oakland Raiders have a great strength coach, he does not believe an increase in weight would slow his speed. Van Dyke is also a versatile player who has played with other great cornerbacks like Brandon Harris and Ryan Hill of Miami.
Jackson is so pleased with the draft choices that he has referred to the joy you have at Christmas when you get exactly what you asked for.
