Kevin Durant Video: Watch Thunder Star Dunk Over Mavs' Brendan Haywood

There's been plenty talk of how Dirk Nowitzki has been an extremely tough man to guard during this postseason, especially after his tremendous 48-point performance in Game 1.

But it's obvious that Kevin Durant is not too shabby himself, he nearly match Nowizki with 40 point in the same game.

After Dallas took an early double-digit lead in the first quarter of Game 2, Durant showed that would have none of it as he silenced a raucous Dallas crowd with this highlight reel play.

In this video, Durant drives right by a helpless Peja Stojakovic and skies high over the outstretched arms of shot-blocking center Brendan Hayward.

Needless to say, Hayward was no match for Durant's thunderous slam as Hayward was promptly whistled for a foul.

Even though Durant go a technical for staring down Hayward after the dunk, that and-1 play shifted the momentum back to the Thunder and ultimately helped them take the lead back in the second quarter.

Behind the inspired play of their bench and their superstar, the Thunder was able to end the Mavericks' seven-game playoff winning streak and steal homecourt advantage from Dallas.

Durant and the Thunder clearly proved in their Game 2 106-100 win that although the Mavs are a good basketball, Oklahoma City can certainly hold their own.

As long as they have KD on their side.

What's his secret? It's all in the backpack.
