2012 NFL Mock Draft Sends Matt Barkley to Miami Dolphins at No. 4 Overall
Many Dolphins fans were upset their team didn't take a quarterback in the 2011 NFL Draft.
With the uncertainity of Chad Henne and no real youthful franchise guy waiting in the wings, Tony Sparano might be forced to take a quarterback here, with his job on proverbial line.
Matt Barkley a kid used to the sunshine, lands in Miami and can step in from day one to revitalize the franchise.
He tossed 27 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions on a USC team that didn't have the loads of talent we've grown accustomed to in the new millenium.
With a better junior year that yields more wisn for the Trojans, Barkley could shoot up draft boards all the way to this selection at No. 4 overall.
He lacks franchise quarterback size, at only 6'2'' but he's extremely polished and plays in a pro-style system under Lane Kiffin.
