Los Angeles Lakers Trade Rumors: Should They Make a Move at the Trade Deadline?

Los Angeles Lakers Trade Rumors: Should They Make a Move at the Trade Deadline?

There is a lot of pressure on the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.

While the Lakers have the sixth best record in the NBA at 38-19, the team has had its ups and downs, and they have not controlled the West like they were expected to entering the season.

Lakers trade rumors started fairly recently, and while most have been shot down, the team is in dire straights after an ugly three-game losing streak.

"We have an owner that wants to win," Kupchak told ESPN. "He wants to accumulate trophies. He wants to have more than the Celtics have. We have a coach who is not into rebuilding. He wants to win this year and for his legacy. We have players, veteran players, who want to win this year. No one is looking two or three years down the road. The mindset of the organization is to win today."

If you were in Mitch Kupchak's shoes, would you explore the trade market and make a move? Or would you stand pat and believe in the team to complete their three-peat come playoff time?
