MLB All-Star Game: Cabrera Leaves Game with Injury, Jeter Made Right Decision

Miguel Cabrera is the second player to leave the 2011 MLB All-Star Game early with an injury. Cabrera is second only to Josh Beckett who left after the first inning.

Cabrera left the game with a strained left side.Cabrera's injury is not very serious, and that's good news for the Tigers.

The team does not play again until Friday, so Cabrera will have a few days to rest up.

Cabrera was struggling when he came into the All-Star Game, going 5-for-35 in the few games leading up to the break.

Still, Cabrera is the second player to have to leave the game early, forcing many fans to think that the players who did not play made the right decision (like Derek Jeter)
