Tito Ortiz Makes Right Decision to Meet Rashad Evans at UFC 133

Tito Ortiz is back baby!

No more complaints, no more excuses, Tito Ortiz looks back in a big way after his first round destruction over betting favorite Ryan Bader earlier this month.

The UFC was in a tough situation trying to replace an injured Phil Davis as a headliner for UFC 133 on Aug. 6th.

With Ortiz stepping up to the plate, he is helping not only the UFC and the fans, but also his career.

After the victory over Bader, Ortiz genuinely feels that he is turning his career around.  Make use of it big guy! You are not getting any younger.

He walked away from the Bader fight unscathed, but that is not even the real kicker.

Who needs another training camp when he was already training for a Division 1 wrestler with knockout power?

Rashad is basically a higher ranked version of Bader and a great stylistic matchup for Ortiz.

Add on top of that the history between Ortiz and Evans.

These two headliners fought back in 2007 with Ortiz getting the better of Evans in the first two rounds, but Evans salvaged a draw due to a point deduction of Ortiz in the third.

These two immediately wanted a rematch that they never received.

Four years later, presto, instant compelling headliner.

Thank you Tito Ortiz.  You are making the right decision.
