2011 NFL Mock Draft: Full 1st-Round, 2nd-Round Picks, Aldon Smith to Texans?

2011 NFL Mock Draft Projects Aldon Smith To Houston Texans

The Houston Texans brought in Wade Phillips to be their defensive coordinator next season during the offseason, and the Texans will need to bring in the players to fit his defensive scheme.

The Texans plan to institute a 3-4 defense next year and they will need to bring in the players.  Smith could become an OLB in the Texans scheme and be one of their premier pass rushers.  He is a raw talent but has all the tools to become successful in the NFL.

Houston definitely needs help in their secondary, which would make Prince Amukamara an option here, but the Texans likely need to address their front seven in the first round, and look to add a CB later in the draft.
