Brandon Marshall: Miami Dolphins Receiver Hospitalized with Stab Wound

Brandon Marshall Recovering Following Stabbing

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was hospitalized early this morning after being stabbed.

There have been no details of the incident yet but according to Schefter, a source close to the incident says Marshall is "going to be OK."

Marshall just finished his first season with the Miami Dolphins, leading the club with 86 catches and 1,014 yards. He had been a two-time pro bowler with the Denver Broncos, but ran into several conflicts with the team that drafted him regarding his salary an was dealt last offseason to the Dolphins in exchange for a second round pick. 

Next year will be his sixth in the NFL after being a fourth round pick (119th overall) by Denver in the 2006 NFL Draft.
