'Smallville': A Peek At the Superman Suit

With the final season of 'Smallville' wrapping up and the "no tights, no flights" doctrine out the window, it was only time before the Superman suit officially made its way to the series.

In promo pics from 'Prophecy,' the penultimate episode of the series, Clark and Lois are seen with the suit in the Fortress.

The suit is definitely more 'Superman Returns' rather than 'Superman.' The "S" is smaller and the material looks sort of scaly.

'Smallville' executive producer Kelly Souders teased 'Prophecy' to our own Laura Prudom.

Besides the return of Kara, Souders said there's a "poignant takeaway" for Lois and Clark moment at the end of the episode.
