Will The Anderson Silva Documentary Make UFC Fans Cheer For Him?
Anderson Silva has done a lot of things that have made a lot of people very angry throughout his career. He is showboat, oftentimes toying with an opponent that he knows he is better than. He has clashed with Dana White on more than one occasion about the way that he fights. He has made fans turn off their televisions when he fights.
That?s a lot of venom being spewed at the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. But there is a new documentary coming out that could shift people?s feelings towards the man known as ?The Spider.?
From MMAFighting.com:
A documentary about Anderson Silva's life between his bizarre title fight against Demian Maia at UFC 112 and his showdown with Chael Sonnen at UFC 117 will premiere on Thursday, April 21, at New York's Tribeca Film Festival.

"We basically took a slice out of Anderson Silva's life and all of our lives and basically documented it," Silva's manager Ed Soares said on a recent episode of The MMA Hour. "People can see the entire experience up until he is walking out of the locker room."
There is a trailer for the movie, which you can view here, and it shows the many different sides of Silva?s personality. There is the cocky fighter, but there is also the loving family man that doesn?t taunt people. He is a father and husband, and he looks genuinely happy in a few of the clips shown.

Silva may never be the most likable guy, but at least we now have something out there that can humanize him, something that makes him look like more of a man and less like a machine.
I want to see how Silva is portrayed. I want to get insights into the inner workings of the best fighter in UFC history. I want to know what makes him tick, and, at least based on the trailer, I will be able to do that.
